Skin goal: clear, even, dewy skin.
At least here in Connecticut, it seems like the weather trend changes almost monthly – and with it, my skin. Today I’m sharing the products that I loved using in June. I also hunted for the best deals on the products, they’re all linked below!
1. Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops in dark bronzed glow
Found here and here (I linked two for you since Sephora runs out quickly!). Get your glow on without the skin damage! I love this sunless tanner for a few reasons. First, it’s called “dark” but really it’s totally customizable. You mix 1-12 drops in your face or body lotion and apply. I like to use 2-3 drops on my face/neck and 4-6 on my arms and legs. The second thing I love about this product is it doesn’t have that typical sunless tanner smell. In fact, I can’t detect any scent at all once I mix it with my lotion! And then finally, it spreads evenly and absorbs quickly. I have more than once thrown on a white tee or jeans within minutes of application.
2. Hangover Replenishing Face Primer by Too Faced
I don’t wear foundation (although I did try it once with foundation and it worked great!) but this has been my go-to daily moisturizer. It helps to blur imperfections and leaves your skin looking dewy without being sticky.
3. Laneige Lip Mask
OK, surprisingly, this is one of my fav products! (Also found here.) I can sense your surprise…A lip mask?? YES! This lip mask is everything! I went to bed with a pouty gloss on and woke up with the softest lips ever. I especially recommend this if you’re a lipstick wearer to help keep that pout in tip-top shape.
4. Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow
This is one of my all-time favorite products. I am determined to always have a supply of this. The oil absorbs quickly and works great under any other moisturizer/SPF. Good for morning and/or night. The turmeric helps with any redness and unevenness to your skin. The vitamin C made me nervous since I have had breakouts from it in the past, but my skin LOVED this. No breakouts + luminous skin = WIN
5. Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream
This was moisturizing enough that I think it would even be great in the winter, yet it absorbs well and didn’t feel too heavy for the summer. How that is possible I do not know, but I love it. Plus since it helps protect and heal your skin from environmental stressors, I’m thinking this is a great product to have on hand for post-beach days.
6. Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream
An eye cream that makes this new mama look not so sleep-deprived? I’ll take it. Find it here and here!
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products or have any personal favs to recommend!
xx, Rae
